Sweet Treat

Here is a great  recipe that I found ... I  am sure that both you and your little ones will LOVE these bite sized treats!

These wholesome little treats are easy to make and give raw cookie dough a run for its money! It would be easiest to combine and mix the ingredients in a stand mixer, although it would be much more fun to let your child's hands do the mushing! Enjoy!

(Makes 40-50 "Powerballs"..)

Mix together  1 cup peanut butter and one cup honey until smooth.

Gradually add in 3 cups old fashioned oats and 1/2 cup ground flaxseed.

Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of any combination of nuts and dried fruit...(we used 1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts and a 1/4 cup each of raisins and dried cranberries)
and mix gently in your mixer or smooch together by hand.

Roll into ping pong size balls and place in mini muffin cups.  You can enjoy your treat right away, although they will be much less sticky after a night spent in your refrigerator!

Yum,Yum....
