did you know that the second annual post card exchange is taking place
over at The Fairfield House?
You should stop by and see what all the buzz is about.
We participated last year and are so excited for this year's
postcards to start making their way into our mailbox.
did you know that I have a box filled with every handwritten letter,
card or note that anyone has written to me throughout the past 15 years?
(it's true.)
i'm a sucker for a thoughtful gesture.
from my incredibly supportive and loving sister...
from the best friend a girl could ask for...
from my adorable husband,
who was my adorable boyfriend at the time that he left this for me
on the driveway of my parents house...
from a woman who's friendship has passed the test of time and distance...
i love you Carmen.
P.S.
did you know that I read the most delightful book last week?
(I cant stop thinking about it.)
if your in the market for a fabulous read, please read this book.
i saw a trailer for the film version of this book,
which will premier next month and almost fell off of our couch.

I just read Water for Elephants, too, and was quite taken with it. I'm eager to see the film as well. I love the photo...very cool.
Corey,
Thanks for the shout out! The more people involved, the better. I enjoyed looking at all your treasured correspondence. Very sweet! I too could not put Water for Elephants down. It was such a good read. On another note, my father had a childhood friend who was a professional clown for Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. When they came to Manhattan we were taken 'back stage' and got to see everything behind the scenes.
Your Friend,
Deborah
