Sweetness.

Life has been extremely sweet these days... I figured I would share some of the sweetness with you.

When we moved into our little house few months back, I made a quick comment about how wonderful I thought that it would be to string the walnut tree in front of the barn with lights.

Someone was listening.

Take a peek at what I was surprised with this weekend after a long days work...
Now imagine how beautiful it will look once the thick green leaves have grown onto these bare branches and the light filters itself through their density.
Sweet. The lights, yes.... But more so, my husband.
Berries are on the vine.  Ripening in the sunshine. Ready for the picking...
Sure to be sweet, soon.
Our organic garden has been planted, watered,
and adorned with these sweet handmade garden signs.
I cut up a piece of rough cedar, sprayed the pieces with chalkboard paint, and hung them with twine...
The perfect way to distinguish what was planted!
(Sebastian and Brooklyn are so excited to have a garden again this year.)
Our bird feeder, is in full effect. Feeding the sweet neighborhood birds, both big and small...
Super sweet was Sebastian's book,
that was left out on the picnic table after an afternoon read...
Even sweeter is the constant use of the bookmark that his
 Momma made especially for him.
This adorable painted rock was my Mother's Day gift from Sebastian this year.
He spent so much time and attention to detail on making the ladybug just right...
My sweet friend Lyn has decided to start blogging again and has a new address...
You should visit her here, and say a quick hello... You'll be glad that you did.
And lastly, look what was in my mail box when I got home from work today...
This beautiful necklace from one of my beautiful followers.
Seriously? Pinch me.
Unexpected kindness has got to be my most favorite of gestures.

Anthony lit the light in HIS life up in more ways than one. What a loving, sweet gift - more so the fact that he was listening, remembered and knew it was something that was special, something that mattered to you.
I love the ladybug Sebastian painted for you and the bookmark you made him.
