Day Seventeen

I took this picture of Brooklyn within the first week that he crawled.  The determination leading up to that day was fierce.  He would roll and flip flop his was across a room to reach his destination.  Once he had mastered the art of the crawl, he was off like a shot, and he really hasn't slowed down sense.  I love watching him maneuver his way up and down the halls and throughout the rooms in our house. Better yet, I love the sound of it... Little hand slapping against the wood flooring... softer while exploring, louder when excited.  This is a sound that I will surely miss within the months to come, although I am fortunate in that it will be replaced with the pitter patter of yet another set of little boys bare feet...
