this year,

a huge goal of mine is to start taking baby steps into the world of wedding photography.

last month, the incredibly talented Hannah Sampson of The Modern Bouquet

allowed me to take one of these small steps by having me photograph

one of her beautiful tablescapes.

just gorgeous.

I think that this simple white bowl with the floating flowers

is my favorite image from that day.

thank you Hannah for the opportunity.

(Hopefully for me,  there will be many more to come.)

The photos are lovely! The white bowl with the floating flowers spoke to me, too - cozy and familiar, yet still intriguing. Like the Mona Lisa of flower arrangments! ;-) Do you think da Vinci rolled in his grave over that one?

Corey Ann,

I have no doubt there will be many, many more to come. These are not wedding photos -- this is art. I am in awe of your talent.

Your Friend,
Deborah
