well, hello.

I feel like I've been distant.
I apologize for that.
We're friends after all,
and I should stay in touch on a more regular basis.
I was lacking focus, but I have it now.
Re-inspired, refocused.

With that being said,
How are you?
We are wonderful.

 Thank you for asking.

The weather has been odd. Sweltering one day, cloudy and cold the next.
Kinda makes you want to curl up into a ball and dream the day away.
I've been loving this new mug.
Silly how something so small can make someone so happy.
Look who I found enjoying his day in the miniature succulent garden...
I can just imagine the boys leaving him here
and giggling about how much fun he might have.
(Gosh,little boys are the best.)
The holiday spirit is making it's way back into our lives.
I cant wait for Christmas this year.
So much to celebrate, so much to be thankful for.
(Lots of work.) Lots and lots of work for momma and her camera. Lovely.
We recently added fruit picking to Sebastian's list of weekly chores.
While he was picking oranges on Sunday afternoon, he said,
" Mom, I think I am half way to the moon up here."
To a six year old boy, I'm quite sure that it felt like he was.
Buddy is thriving. He's 100% puppy, that's for sure.
 (Woof.)
I find myself dreaming of a field much like this one,
where I could spend the day with my most favorite people.
A giant gathering.
Now that would be just perfect.
What are you dreaming of these days?

Corey Ann,

So happy you are keeping busy with lots of photo gigs. Is there anything better than doing what you love and getting paid for it? When Thomas and I visit CA, I will have to arrange a photo shoot with the very talented you! I guess Yoda was living on cactus milk. :) Love that you are raising little men -- letting them 'live dangerously.' You made me tear up when you described your dream of having all your favorite people gathered in a field; your field of dreams...it's how I always considered heaven to be.

Your Friend,
Deborah
