Beach Bottles

We've started collecting bits and pieces of our favorite beaches.
Some near by, some far from home.
Sand, tiny shells, feathers, even a tiny crab leg.
Sebastian has these bottles displayed in his room
and hopes to add many more to his collection.
(Little bits of summer fun.)

What a wonderful idea! I'd be happy to add to the collection. Interested in some NJ shore beach property? (I just posted about the beach I search for shells, driftwood and sea glass.)
I'll bottle up some treasures and send them off to you!

Deborah

what a sweet idea! we always collect from our beaches here - we have bowls of shells & rocks & treasures on a table by our front door. i may borrow your idea of bottling sand & treasures so that my boys can keep them forever.

Oh I love that idea! I would really love to try that, especially with my boys. I have 2 boys by the way...12 and 8. We don't live near any beaches now...we did live in Florida for 5 years though and did get our fill of beaches. However, I am sure we can finds some great things in nature in our own back yard...tiny pinecones, acorns, feathers and such.
