A Love Story

My heart is full. I love you way too much.
Brooklyn...
Your inner light shines so brightly...
It's almost blinding.
Sebastian...
To know you...
Is to love you...
And I couldn't love you more.
Blessed to have you in my life...
Honored to be your mother.
So glad you have each other...
To share a lifetime or secrets and whispers...
And to have one another as your closest of allies.
To share a kiss...
Or two...
Or three.
And a familiar embrace.
To share the understanding of how important your relationship is. That there is no love like the love between brothers...
You,
Are,
Beautiful.
From the inside out.
You make me happy...
And prouder than you will ever know.
You make me wonder where the last six years have gone and how my sweet baby boy could have grown into such a fine young man.
You make me laugh.
You make me hope that as you grow into men, you will keep the heart of a child.
I think about the path that you both will choose in your lives. Which way you will go, what lives you will lead...
I think about the excitement of having your life lie before you, just waiting to be lived...
And one day my sweet boys, your childhood will be...
A hazy, love filled memory.
As you navigate your way through the world, please remember this...
Be brave. Love honestly and openly. Wear your heart proudly on your sleeve...
Jump into the unknown, for it is there that you will learn the very most about yourself and what love and life are truly meant to be.
Remember that above all else, your family loves you and supports you in all that you do. This is your only chance to live. Take each day as it comes and live it as fully as you possibly can.
Oh, and this...
The greatest gift that your father and I could give to you is...
Each other.
Cherish your brother.
Respect him.
Support him.
Trust him.
And above all else...
Love him.

OMG!!! This post has to be the most emotional one that i have ever read. Probably because I have two boys myself ages 9 & 4. You wrote everything a mother feels in her heart. Your boys are blessed to have you for their mommy. They are beautiful, handsome kiddos. Love your blog. Have a blessed day.

Corey, once again you have presented something that is so beautiful. Your boys are growing up to be so handsome and it's great to see the love they share. I hope they know what an amazing, loving mother they have. Thank you for sharing your special love! xoxo
