A month or so ago, Sebastian and I collected both flowers and leaves from our garden and laid them atop wax paper folded once over... We stuck them within the pages of the heaviest book that we have and did our best to forget about them for a few weeks... When we went to retrieve the flowers and leaves, they had been pressed beautifully, retaining most of their color and texture... We then used a matte based Modge Podge to adhere the samples to some craft paper, and they turned out beautifully... Here a few pictures of us working on the project, and then the finished product which now decorates the inside of a toy chest in Brooklyn's room! Really easy and beautiful!
