Fall Festival
Sebastian's Kindergarden class held their Fall Festival this afternoon. The children donned their Halloween costumes, gamed, crafted and joined one another in a parade throughout the school. It was such fun to see our boy in his costume, proud yet borderline embarrassed by the attention he drew... He was precious. Here are few of my most favorite images from todays festivities. Enjoy!

A Halloween Poem
Here is the first edition of what will become a new tradition in our home. This is a Halloween inspired poem that Sebastian and I put together. I typed out the word "Halloween", and he came up with (most) of the correlating words... I helped with a few! Then my sister and I mounted the poem onto decretive paper and used some Halloween rub-ons to add a bit of fun! Each year, you are supposed to feature the newly completed poem in a black frame, switching them out year after year, while keeping the poems of years gone by to reflect back and see how much the child has changed. I can hardly believe that Halloween is two days away...

Annual Fun
We visited our most favorite pumpkin patch today. My sister Kelly and my nephew Isaac are visiting from out of town, so we made our annual trip to Bates Nut Farm, and we had a wonderful time.
A Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday
We held Brooklyn's second birthday party on Saturday afternoon. It was a wonderful time and the party went exactly as I had hoped it would. Brooklyn had a blast. He is most officially two.

Homecoming
Last night I returned as alumni to my high school for the first time since I walked off of the field after graduation in 1998. The annual homecoming game was held, and this seemed to be the year to return, amongst friends and lots of little ones! What fun to see my classmates; some of which I have known since grade-school, with their families... Now mothers and fathers, husbands and wives... Really neat. I of course felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Who wouldn't with a date that looks like this little guy? Sebastian had a wonderful time running around with the other alumni children, savoring goodies from the snack bar and watching the football game... and the cheerleaders. Typical boy. It was a wonderful night, our Panthers were victorious and Momma had a chance to be cool for her boy, at least for an hour or two... Go figure.
